Trick 0r Treat!

I don't know if it was Jack's, but this was Clara's very first house to Trick-or-Treat at in her whole little life! She did great, and was really excited! They were both so intrigued by this.... Clara LOVES these blow up spiders. Our neighbor has one and she has to go see it every night!
We ran into Will, Sarah, and Alice... she was so cute in her Bee costume!
Clara is drawn to anything that blows up......
We took Clara to meet Tara, Johnny, and Jack in Crestline to Trick-or-treat tonight and it was so much fun. We decided to make it a family tradition! Clara and Jack were great and ran up to houses! We stopped by a party in the neighborhood and then went out to eat at LaPaz. I'm not really sure if I spelled that right, but it is one of our favorite places to eat! We really had a great day! Clara made Halloween cards for all of her friends, but I never got to deliver them, so that is what we will do tomorrow! She is so much fun, I love her so much!

Halloween!

Jack saying, "I'm home"! Clara, busy in the kitchen cooking dinner for her painter! :)
Saturday night we went to a party down the street and had a blast! The hosts have a little girl Clara's age and the most awesome back yard I had ever seen! The little girl had a playhouse that was almost big enough to live in! Clara and Jack pretty much spent the entire time playing "house". I only took two pictures the whole party because I was busy talking to people and watching Clara! We have another party tonight, so I will try to take more pictures of that and of Clara trick-or-treating! I love Halloween!

War Eagle!

WAR EAGLE!!!Clara was an Auburn Cheerleader for the Fall Festival at Mitchell's Place today! The cake walk! She won! Sitting very still to have a spooky ghost painted on her cheek!
Toss the ring on the witches hat!
Harrison and Hudson's school had a fall festival today and Clara had a lot of fun! She really loves Halloween!

Introducing Nomi!!!

Clara's new "swippers". She runs around the house and loses one and then yells, "Oh, Prince Charming, I wost a swipper"! Then her Daddy finds it, tries it on mommy whom it does not fit and then he finds Clara and puts the slipper on her! Then they dance...... it is a priceless memory!
This is Clara's fish, Nomi. It was a party favor at Jack, Jack's Birthday party and Clara is in love with him. She named it Nomi and is doing a really great job of taking care of him. She feed sit every day and even helped me clean the water! Nomi is the most active Betta fish I have ever seen! He jumps and swims and gets really excited whenever he sees me or Clara! Clara picked out Nomi's new house from the pet shop the other day... I tried to explain that the fish was a boy. She just said, "boys like pink, Mommy"!

Cheese!

Happy Birthday Jack, Jack!

Notice... all of the women and children playing and talking... all of the men watching football! Jack showing the boys how drumming is done!
Clara was thrilled to play with all of Jack's old toys! She hardly did anything else!
Jack opened gifts like a pro!
Clara loved this kitchen! She was very excited about it!
Fishing with Mimi
Jack caught a big one!!!
Family picture :)
Clara thought this was a really fun slide!
Sandbox time!
Jack was so pleased to have everyone sing to him! What a difference a year makes! Last year he cried!
Clara was very excited about Jack's Birthday! She kept saying "Mommy, he's my best friend" and "I love him" over and over! I think it is precious that they are finally getting to where they play with / tolerate one another! :) Jack's party was really fun! Clara got a beta fish as a party favor (cool, I know) and she is in LOVE with it! She named him Nomi (pronounced No-me) I have no idea where she got the name from. She has fed it, talked to it, brought it prizes, and loved is since we brought it home! I hope he lives!

"Baby Laurie"

I love this picture!
Clara had a great time playing with Natalie's beautiful, precious little baby girl Tuesday! They were very interested in each other at first, and then Clara felt the need to get out every toy that she owns for Laurie to play with! She is getting much better at playing with babies!

Boo at the Zoo!

Clara loves the rats in the barn.... yuck! She sat sooo still to get her face painted!
I don't think that either Jack or Clara understood what Robby was doing!
It is almost as if they expected to see something different when they looked through the hole!
Jack and Clara both loved the games!
This is a funny picture.. I'm not sure who is pushing who! But what is even funnier is that the window is literally like 10 feet long with no one else there and they were fighting over this one spot!
I love the face that Jack and Clara are giving each other.. It looks like Clara is saying, "Hey, let's lose these old people and cause some trouble"!
Jack fixed everything with his hammer..... a true man uses mostly a hammer and duck tape... I'm sure that is a saying by someone!
Clara loves Snoopy... but she is not allowed to watch it! There are too many bad attitudes and too much name calling in the cartoons!
I thought that this was a beautiful picture!
Mommy's princess!
fake smile, but so pretty!
Robby, Clara, and I met Tara, Johnny, and Jack at the zoo Sunday night for Boo at the Zoo! It was great fun! Of course, my battery ran out in my camera AGAIN!!! So, I don't have too many pictures that I just love, but I wanted to share some with you anyways. Clara and Jack know the zoo a little too well, which is actually fine when we go during the week and there are not a million people there, but it made me nervous Sunday night! It was getting dark and they were running around and sooo excited, not to mention that there were probably 100 Cinderellas there and I was afraid I would loose sight of Clara! I barely got to talk to Tara from chasing after Clara! Jack and Clara both did really great with the Trick-or-Treating part! They told every single person "Fankyou" (Clara) and "Thankssss" (Jack)! I am so thankful that we have Tara, Johnny, and Jack living in Birmingham. We are blessed with such great friends! Clara tells me all of the time that she loves her Jack, Jack!

Catching up!

Turtlie! Feeding Turtlie....
Mommy making sure that Clara doesn't fall off! And she would if I wasn't standing there! Tara knows, Clara doesn't have the most coordination! This is what "Turtlie Park" gets it name from! Clara LOVES this thing. She feeds it and climbs on it the whole time we are there. She is very protective of it thought, and has a hard time letting other children climb on it too!
Sliding!
talking to daddy in the window! Robby and I walk to Overton Park all of the time with Clara. She rides in her stroller of course, but it is such a great park for her and we love being able to go somewhere without the car. It reminds us of being back in California and that makes us happy!
She thinks she is very good at this.... daddy has to help her, my nerves can't take it!
Thanks to my dad, Clara has a love for vegetables! Yes, this IS a potato with a face drawn on it and yes, her dolls are untouched in the floor! She has cared for this thing for days... I am not sure what to do with it when it starts to rot!
Clara's homemade piggy ghost costume!
Jakob spent the night with us last week and a storm knocked out all of our power! It was crazy, but we had a lot of fun! This is Robby, Clara and Jakob playing. They all 3 wore head lamps and it was hilarious!
Here is the same picture as the one above, but with the flash on!
Clara is coloring with her head lamp on! This picture is funny because they are really in the dark, the camera's flash is making the light!
Precious!
Clara's funny morning hair!
I couldn't resist taking like 10 pictures of her hair this morning!
Washing the car with daddy is so much fun! Especially when daddy dresses you in clothes that are too small!
Lately, I have been either too tired, too busy, or my camera battery has been dead and I have not posted as much as I used to. This post is kind of a bunch of pics from the past week or so... I kind of started to panic yesterday when I realized that ALL of our pictures are saved in this blog! If it vanishes so does the physical evidence of our memories from the past 5 years or so... if anyone knows how to "back up" or save a blog please let me know! We have been really busy lately, Robby and I both love this season. We agree that the fun starts in October and lasts until January! We have taken Clara to all sorts of festivities! She loves Halloween almost as much as Natalie (one of her mother's favorite people!) She has two costumes this year... one is Cinderella, she loves it and feels so pretty, and the other is of a "piggy ghost". The piggy ghost is from "Word World", this is one of her favorite cartoons to watch on PBS kids. It is very entertaining and educational and we both enjoy watching it. Well, Pig is one of her favorite characters and he is a ghost for Halloween! We made the costume together out of a pillow case and she is so proud of it! The older she gets the more fun she is to play with! I love my life!
