She did it again!

She rolled over again! She also sticks her tongue out at me if i stick mine out at her! What fun!

Big News!

She wasn't so sure about this bouncy seat at first, but she likes it for a little while and she loves it when she is really really tired because it vibrates! It's like a tiny baby massage! Ok, so the big news.... Clara rolled over last night!!! Her daddy and I were playing with her on her baby Einstein mat and we were having some tummy time. She just lifted up her head and the rolled over onto her back! We were all so surprised and she was so happy with herself! We haven't seen her do it again, but she sure tries really hard every time we put her on her tummy! Anyways, the second set of big news is that Robby's brother Rhett and Valerie are comming out here to visit us June 3-10!! We are so excited and Clara can't wait to meet them!

Congrats to Brandy on the birth of a healthy baby! Robby and I are very happy for you guys and have you in our prayers.

10 pounds!

Robby and I weighed Clara today! She was between 9.5 and 10 pounds on our scale (she weighed 10 with me and 9.5 with Robby) She is getting soo big! This picture shows you how long she is. She still loves the sling, but sometimes she pokes her head out to see what is going on in the world! See, she isn't always happy! She has a fussy period every day, it is just at random times! No set schedule for this baby! She usually wakes up between 3am and 6am and is up until lunchtime or a little after! I love how busy she is, it is really fun to play with her. But by the end of the day her daddy and I are worn out! I don't know what I am going to do when Robby goes back to work June 16. Clara had her first playmate over yesterday. Beth brought her son Ben over. They were very uninterested in each other and fell asleep on their walk! Today Paola and Judith are bringing Aubry over to play! He is older than Ben and will probably play with Clara a little more. Hope everyone had a great Memorial day. ~ Andrea

Baby Einstein Gym!

We all had so much fun this morning playing with Clara's Baby Einstein Gym! The butterfly was her favorite. It made this great crinckle noise and she would hit it over and over! During tummy time she held her head up really high! Such a happy baby!

Clara is 3 weeks old today!

Clara is getting soooo BIG!!

Thanks Mumzy and Poppie for the sling!! Clara loves it and mommy finally has her hands free!! This is Clara sleeping happily in her sling! She is 3 weeks old today and we are all doing very well! Robby and I are still trying to adjust to the lack of sleep, but Clara seems to be doing just fine with the amount of sleep she gets! Not much else is going on here. Robby and I are talking about taking a road trip to see how Clara does! We want to drive through Oregon and see Seattle before we move back south. Clara's other favorite place (besides the sling) is the car seat so we think she will do very well! Anyways, I hope everyone is doing great! We love you all! ~ Andrea, Robby, and Clara

Day at the park!

I love the BOB! It was a beautiful day and the views were great. Clara is continuing to grow! She is almost out of her newborn clothes! We are having so much fun with her, but have found that we no longer do anything that doesn't revolve around her!!!! I suppose it shouldn't be any other way! Love you guys, Andrea

I took all of these pictures of Clara this morning during playtime! I couldn't decide which one I liked best, so I put a couple of them on here! It is the many faces of Clara! I hope every

one is well. Robby and I are about to take the little bit on a stroll and this afternoon we are planning on going to the park!

Introducing a passy...

After four different types of passys we finally found one that Clara likes. At first I was very against giving her a passy, but the doctor actually recommended it after she spent 20 minutes with us at her office trying to make Clara stop crying to eat! She won't take it all of the time, but it helps. She is also in her diaper because we are having a "heat wave" here.... it got up to 95 degrees today! That is the hottest it has been since we moved here two years ago, I know that is nothing compared to the South, but here there is no way of getting out of the heat. Almost nowhere has air conditioning, not even the doctor's office! We actually went to Books-A-Million to stroll Clara around in it's air conditioning while we waited for our clothes to dry at the laundry mat!

Two weeks old today!

Clara is two weeks old today! We went to the doctor yesterday and she is now 8.10 pounds and 21 inches long!!!!! In the hospital the doctor told me to feed her every time she was hungry to help her gain weight and establish a good milk supply for her, but that is all going so well that now we are going to have to start putting her feeding on a schedule, apparently she eats a little too much! It is good that the doctor says it is ok to stop feeding her every time she wants to eat, mommy was starting to feel drained! Plus she ALWAYS wants to be moving! I am so happy that she is so healthy though, the doctor says that she is perfect and that she is very alert and aware of her surroundings for her age..... I guess that's a good thing, I just wanted her to be healthy! Her umbilical cord fell off so now she gets to take real baths! this morning was her first real bath. See those pudgy little arms and legs and that big tummy!

May 13 & 14

Just exercising! Mommy thinks I am the cutest baby in the whole world! This last picture was taken at night without a flash, so it's not very good, but I like it so much. Clara looks so peaceful, plus I think the little straight jacket her Daddy and I put her in to sleep is kind of funny. She loves to be swaddled up really tight and this little outfit is made by some people who make tons of SIDS free sleepwear.

May 11, Mother's day!

Clara's first sponge bath! Aunt Gigi gives us the cutest little outfits! Wide awake! Dad and Robby made mom and I a picnic lunch/dinner at the park! They grilled out steak, pork, chicken, and vege kabobs! It was really fun and really yummy! Clara liked her first day in the park. My dad is a really good griller!Dad and Robby making kabobs. Clara's sunhat was a little big! Mumzy and Poppie love their little granddaughter!

My first mother's day was great. Dad and Robby made me feel really special. Clara gave mommy some new running shoes! Robby is a really great dad. Clara is his little princess! After a big day, mom, dad, and Clara were all really tired!
