Clara & Laurie!

Clara and Laurie had a little play time yesterday and it was precious! Of course I think I was a little more nervous about Clara's behavior than Natalie was, but I was so afraid that my unpredictable 2 year old might try to cover her with a blanket, pet her like a dog, give her "food", or try to brush her hair and put lipstick on her.... oh wait that was my 2 year old.... I was just happy that Natalie actually acted like she would want to do it again after the "love" that Clara poured over Laurie :)

Emotional Rollercoaster!

Robby says that sometimes Clara gets stuck on a little emotional roller coaster! I took these pictures within seconds of each other!

Happy Father's Day! We had a good day.

We had a party at out house on Friday night and Clara had soo much fun playing with the children that were there! This is the first time she has actually payed attention to baby Alice! In this picture she is playing "this little piggy" with her toes! As always, Jack, Jack was her favorite playmate at the party!

Clara loves to put on make up and fix her hair with me when I get ready for work in the mornings! I think she is going to have her daddy's hair!!! (Yes, those are big girl panties that she is wearing!!! She is doing awesome at potty training!)

I love this picture! Clara loved the water today! It was sooooo HOT outside, I was really happy that the zoo has the water part!

The sheep kept walking away from Clara today whenever she tried to brush them... I think she might have cornered this one with the rake!!

Thomas was a little scared of the birds landing on him, so he sat on the bench and watched them eat!

Clara and Jack...... love it!

We love the zoo! It really is so much fun! The best way to do it is to get a membership, especially with little ones so you can stay as long or as short of a time as you want! Today we met Tara and Jack there and I brought Clara, Thomas and Jakob. We had a great time!

Getting Creative!

Clara painted a picture at City fest this weekend for the first time and she loved it! So, I went to the dollar tree and bought some art supplies for her and we painted today! I LOVE my Mondays and Fridays with Clara. I wish I was with her every day! Beach beauty!

I had to turn the sprinkler waaayyy down before Clara would even get close to it!

She finally braved up and ran through it!

I also bought sidewalk chalk at the dollar tree and we had fun drawing with it. But the main reason I am posting this picture is to show you guys the potty! Yep, that's right! I brought the potty outside with us today, Clara is doing great with her potty training! I am so proud of her!

Party at Granmmuggers!

Slip N' Slide! Clara would lie down on the surf float and kind of kick with her legs.... she didn't go anywhere but it was great fun! Especially when Mia would fly by! She was totally soaked! It's a good thing mommy always packs extra clothes!

Clara, "Mema" (Mia), me, and Uncle Ryan! We were apparently all having a great time! There was a party at the Austin's house Saturday night to say bye to Robby's little brother Rhett and his wife. Clara had a ball and the party was very fun. Audra Claire cooked an amazing meal for everyone and then we all just kind of played!

Playing with my Princess!

Clara's imagination has really expanded over the last couple of months! She plays with her toys now without being prompted and she talks to them. For example, she will take a doll and ask how it is doing today and then she will change her voice and say "Just fine, thanks"... as if she is the doll talking back! I love it. Sometimes Robby and I get so tickled when she is in the other room playing! Yes, ALL of the barbies in this picture are naked.... in fact, every doll she has that has removable clothes is naked.... for some reason she gets really mad if we try to put the clothes back on!

Do you see the look on Clara's face! She absolutely smitten! She LOVES our neighbor Will! I am always a little worried that she is bothering him when we hang out... but he is always really sweet to her.. he even lets her dress him up! The precious baby in the swing is his baby girl, Clara calls her "baby Alice"... Robby and I are so happy that will and Sarah and baby Alice live next door. It is always great to have good neighbors!

Navarre Beach

She slept 3 of the 5 hours it took us to drive home! She is getting so old!

Robby, Clara, and I spent a few hours making sand castles at 8 am before we left to drive home! Clara loves the sand!

In my earlier post I told you guys that we spent Memorial Day weekend at the beach for Lane's wedding, the weather wasn't perfect all of the time, but luckily we chose the clear moment of the day to be outside! Navarre Beach is a great place to go!

Lane's Wedding!

Lane was breath-taking in her wedding dress! The ceremony was held on the beach and the weather was perfect! Robby and I are so happy for Lane and Jeremy! Clara loved being around "the Princess"

I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in Lane's wedding last weekend! We all went to Navarre beach for the wedding and it was just perfect! Clara was definitely the most excited about going to the beach and spent a lot of time playing in the sand. She is a beach baby! But when the wedding started she was so into everything that happened. Robby and I had to hold her back to keep her from dancing with Lane and Jeremy during their first dance! She danced for like 3 hours straight! The photographers at the wedding took a lot of pictures of her and I am hoping to get copies when I can. For some reason I have just not had luck with my camera lately, this time the battery went dead!
