Happy Halloween!

My sister's kids and their great costumes! Thomas was a police man and his little brothers were jail birds!!! I thought that this was a great picture of Thomas and M! Robby starts to work on Monday! I am really excited for him because I think he is ready to design again, but I will miss being with him so much. Did you know that for the first 6 months of Clara's life Robby has only had to work 6 weeks! I think that is such a blessing! We are looking forward to things getting into a routine. It will be nice; it gets tiring feeling like you are on vacation all of the time!!!

Boo at the Zoo!!!!

This isn't the greatest picture of me, but it is a great picture of the kids!! Rhett, Valerie, and Audra Claire me up with all of us later. Thomas and Joshua! GRRRR....
WAR EAGLE!!!
Me, Clara the kitty, and Thomas the pirate!
I loved Clara's outfit. It has her name embroidered into the from of it!
Her eyes are so slate blue! Not brown!!!
Robby, Clara and I went to Boo at the Zoo Saturday night with my sister, her kids, M, Mumzy, Ashley and her kids. We had a really great time! While we were there some little girl ran up to me ,wrapped herself around my leg, and buried her face into my knee cap! Her dad and I both were telling her that I wasn't her mommy, but she wasn't listening!! It was really funny! When she finally looked up she looked so confused! Then her mom finally came over and she was exactly my size! We all had a good laugh....

So much fun!

Thomas and Clara love to play together! She has gotten really good at this baby Einstein toy. She loves when the animals pop up and make their sounds! From left to right: Hudson, Thomas, & Harrison! My sister's boys come over here a lot to play or for my mom to watch while my sister works. They are such fun kids to be around and they have such different personalities. The one in the middle is the big brother and the others on the end are twins! It is really fun to be home with family again..... but very hectic!!!!

Daddy's turn!

I couldn't post all these pictures of Clara eating her first cereal without posting these too. This is daddy's first time ever to feed her! She would never take a bottle from him, but she'll take food from anyone!!!

Video of Clara's first cereal!

As if the pictures weren't enough! For those of you who are as crazy about Clara as I am here is a video of Clara eating her first rice cereal last night! Love to all!

Clara's first rice cereal!

Last night was Clara's first time to eat cereal! She LOVED it! From the first bite she was grabbing at the spoon with her hands and opening her mouth wide! She ate 4 TBS of food! I think that is a lot for a little one!
Her first bite! Reaching for it! Open wide!
Yummy!

Happy Birthday M!

Yesterday was M's Birthday. We had a party for her at my mom's house. It was great fun to celebrate such a wonderful person!
There area actually about 10 photos like this! We were trying to get a picture of M and her three grandbabies! It just wasn't working right! nope!
This one was pretty close!
Clara and M at her birthday party yesterday! Happy Birthday M!!!
Clara finally has enough hair for me to make a curl on top!!!!!

Spain Park

Clara loves her daddy! EVERYTHING goes right into the mouth!
I love Spain Park! It is basically a cross country course in a great park with a playground. There is always a lot of families there. I run there all of the time. Robby will either run with me as I push Clara in the BOB, or he will bring a blanket and study for his next ARE exam while Clara rolls around! She is really funny, because she will wiggle and roll her way over to the grass and before you know it, she is grabbing hand fulls of it and squealing with delight! Today was a beautiful day to go to the park! Then this afternoon we kept frick and frack while my sister was at work. They are a hoot. This morning was like the calm before the storm, and when they arrived....BAM...caos! Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't change a thing about them. I have never seen children bubbling with joy and energy the way my sister's kids do...... Inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs, Max & Ruby, candy corn, chocolate soy milk, matchbox cars flying down banisters, boo boos & band aids, frantically protecting Clara's soft spot from little loving fingers, & of course the alphabet perfectly sounded out and recognized by a two year old....... what a wonderful life it is with children in it!

Soccer Games!

The "little" boy in the green shirt is Harrison! He wants to play soccer like his big brother, Thomas! The coaches let him sit in the circle after the game and even gave him a snack, which I thought was very cool of them! By the way, Harrison (2 and a half years) is sitting in a circle of 4 year olds. By the looks of it, I think he could hold his own if they let him play! Saturday was Thomas's last soccer game and the whole family went to cheer him on! It is always so much fun to me to watch little ones play soccer. It's like bees running after honey, all bumping into each other! As always, there was one really super good girl on the team and I think Thomas figured out that whenever she got the ball to run to the goal and he would try to hit it in right as she kicked it! There was also someones little sister who kept running onto the field to play and her mom kept running after her and dragging her off... ahhh, you have to admit it is entertaining. Clara really loves to watch a lot of children playing, so she had a ball. After the game Robby and I made the mistake of going to Walmart on a Saturday! But it was a good trip even though Clara "screamed" to get out of her stroller and I ended up carrying her 16 pounds through the entire store! The weather has been incredible for running and I was able to get in a 9 mile run just before getting Clara ready for bed. So, in all it was a pretty great day!

Grandmother's house

Clara loves to read books! In fact she has loved reading since the day I brought her home from the hospital. Clara and her new friend Benjamin at Grandmother's house. Grandmother had a baby shower at her house yesterday for two women in their home church. Clara had a really good time playing with the other children. Benjamin (the little boy in the pictures above) got a little bold, but I thought she handled it really well! He is two weeks older than her but a lot smaller! I figured she could hold her own! He can already crawl really well, Clara only swims (as you can see in the picture!)

Getting married will be the greatest thing you have ever done in you whole life.... well, at least until you decide to have kids!!

The Armbrester household

Clara is getting sooo BIG! Pretty girl This is Christopher (my sister's husband) with Harrison and Thomas! They LOVE playing with their daddy! This is called Tiger Trap. Bath time! As many of you know, Robby, Clara, and I are living with my parents while we are getting our ducks in a row and house hunting...... Clara is adjusting very well to life at the Armbrester's house! There is always someone wonderful there and something fun going on! I didn't really realize this until we moved here, but Robby and I have always lived away from everyone on our own and it is very different now. We are having to work hard to adjust to this new lively, fast-paced environment, but we are so happy to have Clara so close to family. I think it has helped her learn who they are. She smiles every time she sees my mom and she coughs every time she sees my dad (he has always coughed a lot). The picture above is Clara tonight after her bath in her bunny towel. We kept the twins today and had a great time playing with them. Good news, Robby took a job today with a firm called Williams and Blackstock. http://www.wba-architects.com/ He is excited about working with them and will start November 3. I am so proud of him!

The Beluga Whales were my favorite! Me and Clara and the Whale Robby in front of some scary swamp fish! Thursday, my mom, Jakob, Clara, Robby, and I went to the Atlanta Aquarium! We had a great time! I still think my favorite aquarium is the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but this one was still really fun!

Fun with family

I made Halloween sugar cookies with the boys for Pops birthday the other day! It was really messy and really fun!

Thomas was super good at cookie decorating!

Jakob was a big help and Harrison loved eating the dough!

Mommy and Clara playing!

Playing with Grandmother! Grandmother got Clara a new book that she loved! This is Clara's first bath in the sink! Pretty girl!

Clara has grown so much since we have been here! She no longer fits into any 3-6 month clothes! My 5 month old baby girl is wearing 6-9 month clothes now! Nana got her this cute little outfit above! We are loving being back! Robby is interviewing for jobs and we are praying for God's guidance. Things will work out, they always do.
