Our Trip!

Laguna Beach was just breath taking!Orange County, better known as, The OC!
The San Diego Zoo! My favorite, the Galapagos Turtle! It really was this big! And yes, that is Bean in my tummy!Robby and the Gorilla!Pandas! Yes, there were real animals there too, not just statues! Hollywood Blvd! The Chinese Theater (above)
John Wayne (Below)! Yes, that is his fist imprint to the left of his foot! So, bad!
Well, we had a great time over Thanksgiving weekend. We spent Thanksgiving night in Laguna Beach, right across from the water! It was beautiful! We ate at a Mediterranean place Thursday night on the beach. Friday we drove into San Diego and spent the afternoon at the Old Town and shopping at the mall. Sat, we spent the whole day at the San Diego zoo! That was my favorite thing! It was great fun. Then we got takeout and watched Auburn beat Bama! (War Eagle) Sunday we drove into LA and spent time driving through Beverly Hills and walking down Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset Blvd. Of course there was a Holiday Parade down Hollywood Blvd! It was so fun and very crowded! We didn't get back until about 1 am this morning and then we both worked today! It was a great weekend! As you can see in the pictures of me, Bean just decided to pop out! We are 18 weeks old now! I just woke up and there was this tummy!!! I put one picture of me next to the turtle in here where I look preggy and not just big and fat! Our ultrasound is December 12! What is your vote? Boy or girl? Well, Robby wants me to come watch T.V with him now. So, good night everyone! ~ Andrea

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi guys! Well, our Doctor's appoinment went very well today. The doctor said that everything looked great and that the baby sounded very healthy. We listened to its heart beat and to it moving around. I have started to feel what I thought was the baby moving and when I described it to the doctor she said that was definately it! We made an appointment for December 12 at 9:15 am to have our 20 week anatomical ultrasound where we will hopefully find out the sex of the baby! I will write and let everyone know and post pictures as soon as we get back! Robby just left the house to go take his first ARE exam! He is really nervous, but I know he will do just fine. His goal is to have at least three of the eight total taken by the time the baby gets here. The ARE is the big architecture exam you take after three years of interning to get your architecture license! It is crazy how much work it is to become an architect. We finalized all of our San Diego plans today. We are going to stop on the way there Thursday night and stay at Laguna Beach! Then we will go the rest of the way and stay in San Diego Friday and Saturday night. I will be sure to take lots and lots of pictures to post when we get back. I hope that everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving Day! Love~ Dea

Orange Tree

We have this beautiful orange tree right infront of our door and it is almost time to pick some oranges! Like the South, orange trees ripen in the winter here. I am really excited about trying some fresh oranges. I think one day I would like to have a garden. There is something fun about eating things you have grown. Anyways, I just wanted to share these pictures with you guys. I am going to go meet Mika and Beth for a walk now! Have a good day. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!

16 weeks ultrasound

I found this picture on a website I was reading about fetal development. This baby is a little younger than Bean! I couldn't believe how human it looks. I can't wait until our next ultrasound!!! I hope we get lots of good pictures. I had another dream last night that Bean is a girl! Hopefully we will know soon! I love you guys! I am going to go to a spin class now! ~ Dea

Fall

This is a beautiful picture that Mary sent to me of her back yard. I just love the fall leaves in Birmingham. This time of year is what I miss most. Rob and i have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, Novemeber 20. We should be getting the paperwork to fill out for the big ultrasound we will be having in a couple of weeks! This should tell us if we are having a boy or a girl! Rob is also going to be taking his first architecture exam that day too! Try to pray for him, he is alittle nervous about it! I hope everyone is getting excited about the Holidays! Only 40 days until Christmas!

Robby is 26!

Ben Harper played at the Paramount last night. Thanks for the ribs mom, dad, & Audra Claire Austin! (above)
Me before the concert last night in my new Maternity top, 4 months pregnant! (below)
Well, we have had a pretty good Birthday week here in California! Robby got a gift from me or Bean every day this week and he got lots of gifts in the mail from family! Friday night we ate BBQ Ribs, chicken, and pork from Dreamland that Rob's mom, dad, and little sister sent us in the MAIL!!! That was very fun and very cool! Yesterday we went to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and then to a Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals concert here in Oakland. Today we are going to go to Sausalito and shop with Robby's Birthday money from Nana and Pooh and my parents and then I have made some fancy dinner reservations for Robby's end of Birthday week celebration! I can't believe it is already just a little over a week until Thanksgiving! Rob and I are excited about going to San Diego, but what we are most excited about is that a month from Thanksgiving day we will be coming to Birmingham to visit! Time is going by so fast, little Bean is already 4 months old!!!!!! I had a dream last night that it was a little girl and that Robby passed out in the delivery room! Love you guys ~ Andrea

hey

Well, Robby and I had a pretty good Halloween, I hope that everyone dressed up and ate candy until they felt sick! My friend Beth, sent me these pictures of her baby Ben! I thought that they were so precious I just had to share them! As you see, he was a pumpkin for Halloween, and after looking at the last picture, Beth and I decided that he was already thinking, "mom, this is so lame"! I was shopping today, and Target just happened to have their Halloween costumes on sale! I couldn't help it! I bought the cutest little Halloween costume for the baby next year! And you better believe I will be getting that same "this is so lame" look from Rob when he gets home tonight! Bean also got dad a birthday gift today! Can you believe, Robby will be 26 years old this Friday! I am taking him to see Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals Saturday night for his birthday! Not too much else is going on here. I am starting to show a little bump now. You can't really see it yet, but it is there if you are looking for it! Robby and I booked a hotel in San Diego for a four day weekend over Thanksgiving holidays! We are really excited about it! I hope everyone is doing great and I am really looking forward to seeing people over Christmas, even just for a little while!
