Decorating for Christmas!
Clara wears her "Christmas hat" whenever she can!
I love our Christmas tree. When we got married, SEVEN years ago, we started collecting ornaments from all of the places we have been and things we have done. It is always so special to decorate the tree. It is like looking through a scrapbook!

I caught Clara trying to wear the "stinky socks" that daddy hung on the fire place!
I made us Christmas tree lunches that day! :)
Robby got to stay home the Friday after Thanksgiving, so we spent the day decorating and shopping! This Christmas is so much fun with Clara. She is so excited about everything. Children have this wonderful way of making things you have done 100 times seem brand new and spectacular!

Gaylord Opryland Hotel
We spent the weekend at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Tennessee. It was its first weekend open after it flooded and the cleaning lady told us that it was completely full! It was the perfect way to spend my Mom's Big Birthday, Robby's Birthday, and just some much needed time away..
These pictures are out of order, but I got tired of moving them around! Clara loved the King size bed! She built forts on it with the pillows, jumped, watched TV, and slept! Robby and I have been wanting to upgrade our double to a king....
life doesn't get better than this :)

Clara, 2 and a half years old, and the most wonderful thing...... 
This is one of the conservatories inside the hotel. I have never stayed anywhere so big. We didn't leave the hotel for two days and I still don't think we saw everything. It was beautiful and fun... just what we needed...
We went to the "ICE" show at the hotel. It was crazy. There was this big white tent and it was completely filled with the most amazing ice carvings I have ever seen! These were no wedding sculptures, I mean, the ice was actually colored. The entire tent had to be kept between 10 and 12 degrees so they gave us these big coats to wear... I still lost feeling in my fingers after a while. The next few pictures were taken inside the tent!

Pretty much everything in this picture is carved out of ice! It was amazing!

This isn't the best picture, but you can tell how cold we are! This is where I started to lose feeling in my fingers and I was ready to get Clara out of there!
The Nativity scene completely carved out of ice! I know I keep telling you this, but I just don't want you to miss that it was ALL ICE! :)

There were all sorts of fun things for kids to do, Clara loved decorating her cookie! Mommy loved eating it! Gingerbread is my favorite...

This is the exact same face that her daddy makes when he is concentrating. I have seen it a million times when he is building models!
Sooo proud! She decorated it all by herself! I was really impressed that she made a pattern on the cookie!
My camera didn't take very good pictures for some reason, but at night the entire Hotel as decorated with the most beautiful lights and nativity scenes!

Sorry it has been such a long time since I have posted. This has been a very busy and hard month for our family. But get ready for picture overload! As always, I have a million pictures of Clara to share and this time I even have pictures of other people! The Holidays have begun!
