Playing with our new toys!

Clara loves this monkey towel! She won't use anything else! Mommy and Clara is the kitchen! This is one of my favorite rooms in the house. Robby let me choose the colors and the layout and the counter top. I am really happy with the way it turned out! The day after Christmas Clara was still all wound up! She got up and ran into the den to play with her new toys! She was terribly upset when daddy and I started to take down the tree! In fact, she will still bring it up every once in a while..... Robby says that now that Christmas is over... he is ready for Spring!

After Clara woke up from her nap on Christmas day, we drove out to the Austin's house for dinner. We had a great time!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve, before we went to Mumzy and Poppie's house for dinner, we went to Nana and Pooh's house to let Clara open her gifts from them! She had a great time with her Great Grandparents!

Always a comedian!

It's all fun and games until someone sticks something up their nose!!! I think Clara is starting to show her personality a little more every day! She is so funny! She loves to make us laugh. We are still enjoying the Mr. Potato Head that my sister gave to us. The other day Clara decided it would be funny to give herself a mustache. At first she just held it up to her nose, but then she hooked it on the side of her nose... I quickly snapped a picture before I had a talk about how we don't put things in our nose.....

Funny Girl!

The other night, Clara sneezed. Apparently, she thought it was the funniest thing she had ever done and started trying to mimic the action. It turned into this long ordeal and we all couldn't stop laughing! I got the end of it on video before Robby and I made her stop. We were starting to get afraid she was going to hurt her voice or something!

A Birthday Party for Thomas!!!

Thomas will be 6 on December 24!! Harrison and Hudson were sooo excited about Birthday cake!! Thomas got some great Star Wars stuff!

Clara and I had fun! She is wearing the new outfit that Aunt Gigi got for her! Helen made the cute shirt!

Thomas' Storm Trooper helmet and gun were a hit! Apparently Santa needs to buy three more!

Mr. Potato Head

Robby's favorite!

My sister gave Clara some Mr. Potato heads that the boys used to play with and she LOVES them! She literally spent an hour and a half playing with them the other day. She puts them together and takes them apart and talk to them. It is so fun to watch! She gets really mad at her daddy if he tries to play with them! She calls them her "tato heads".

Clara loves to play with umbrellas! She twirls them around and sings, "singin in the rain"!!!

Christmas tree!

We went to Old Bakers Farm last weekend with Sara and Will and cut down Christmas trees! It was sooo cold, but Clara had a really great time!Daddy cutting down our tree!Timber! Good job Daddy!It took us forever to put the tree up in our house! First of all, no one told us to wear protective gear on our arms and face! The tree totally attacked us! We have all of these little cuts! Also, we had the hardest time with the four screws on the base, it is nearly impossible to line up the tree stump in the middle of the screws and they are so dang long that by the time you figure out that they aren't lined up you have spent 30 minutes screwing them in! At one point we cut off a lower branch and the entire half of the tree fell off! We had to use zip ties to fix that! In all it was a fun experience..... but maybe next year we will go with a faker! Clara woke up early the next morning and was so excited about her tree! We decorated it with her and it looks awesome! For some reason, all of the ornaments on the lower branches have slowly been disappearing!!!!!

Donuts and Rugs!

Clara LOVES donuts! Last weekend we woke up early and went to Krispy Kreme. She was so excited the whole way there and when she saw the donuts being made. She ate an entire donut in the car on the way to the rug store. We got a rug for Clara's room for Christmas! She was so hyper in the store, I guess from all of the sugar. She ran around in circles!She came down from her sugar high on the way home in the car!She stands behind the curtains in her room saying, "Where's Clara"! BOOOO!

Yes, that is a toilet seat cover! She loves the thing! My Nana got it and Clara carries it around everywhere (don't worry it has never actually been on the toilet)! She sleeps with it, she sits on it, she talks to the Santa...... it is strange and really cute... and yes for an added bonus... it lights up!
