Clara sleeps in our bed pretty much every morning! This is her with her daddy last Thursday right before I left for a 7 am shift! She looks so grown up and precious! This is Clara's "funny face"! We say, "Make a funny face", and this is what she does! She cracks up afterwards! She thinks she is too funny! She loves to wear these socks..... fashion statement I suppose....

Clara loves my mother. She will ask for her "musy" whenever I won't let her do something like stay in a stinky diaper, skip a nap, or play with something she's not supposed to! It is so funny! The other day we were going to run some errands, I was driving and my mom started to get in the front passenger seat and Clara yelled, "NO, Musy, sit down" as she patted the seat next to her in the back of the car! So my mom sat in the back and this is the priceless video I got while I was supposed to be driving down 280.......

Visit with Mamaw

The singing dog!

Mamaw had so many little things that played music and sang! Clara loved them and played with them over and over. This one was her favorite. She called it the "boogie flowers"!

Clara got her first name from Robby's grandmother. We call her Mamaw, but her real name is Clara. We made dinner and spent the afternoon with Mamaw Tuesday. It was so much fun and Robby even got to meet us over there for dinner.

Krispy Kreme Run!

This morning Clara woke us up extra early because of the stormy weather! So we took a trip to Krispy Kreme! She loved watching them make the donuts. When we got back in the car she said donut over and over again until I gave her one of their hot originals. She ate all but a bite of it! I was amazed! After that we went to Southeastern Salvage to get some stuff for the house and we let her play with the concrete animals..... I have a tiny fear that we will have one or two in our yard one day.......

Noise! Noise! NOISE!!!!!!

Clara loves to play the piano! Here she is entertaining two of her favorite people: Mumzy, and her adopted grandmother, M.

They are teaching her some songs!!! Look how close she is paying attention to them! Thomas and Harrison say, "Hey, cut down that racket"!!! So, Clara took the dinosaurs over to them to play! She loves playing with the boys..... there are always happy noises going on at Mumzy's house!

More zoo time!

This is a great picture of Jack with his favorite person in the whole world... and one of mine too :)

I just thought that this was a great picture of Jack! Apparently I took more of him this trip than I took of Clara. I think that it was because it was too hard to take pictures of Clara while I was holding onto her and I was afraid she would fall and get hurt if I did let go!

Clara loved the concrete animals at the zoo as much as she liked the real ones!

There were no other people at the water park, so Tara and I let Clara and Jack play in their diapers.... it was better than having wet clothes!I wish my flash hadn't messed up this pictures, it would have been awesome! These are squirrel monkeys. They are our favorite thing at the zoo!

They are so fast and playful!

Jack loved watching them! Apparently all I ever do in my free time is go to the zoo! This zoo membership has really paid off! I will probably start inviting people over to my house for play dates if Robby and I ever get to live in it..... but until then, the zoo is the place to be!!! Clara and I met Tara and Jack at the zoo Friday. It was a perfectly overcast day to be outside!

Clara loves to play in the water! She talks to it and signs to it! Mommy loves to carry Clara in her ergo! Clara loves it too because she feels safe and can see all of the animals!

We went into the butterfly house. Clara kept looking where I was pointing, but I don't thin she actually ever realized what it was!

The scary bunny that Clara loved! She hugged it and stood on its feet! Her daddy and I let her dance like this... maybe that is what she was doing!

Daddy and Clara let the flamingos eat out of their hands!! Brave.....

They also fed these pretty birds! Clara went back and forth between emotions over this bird! She was fascinated, scared, and excited all at once! It was precious!

The Birmingham Zoo is awesome! We are members and love it!

These first two pictures are of Clara riding forward in her car seat for the first time this weekend!

Clara finally weighs 20 pounds! So at 16.5 months old she got to face forward in her car seat for the first time! She went berserk!!!! She was clapping and yelling! It is precious! Every time I put her in the car she gets so excited! She also loves it when I turn the air conditioning on full blast! She opens her mouth, shakes her head back and forth, and tries to eat the air! It is precious! Still obsessed with cell phones..... my baby is growing up!

Clara and I have been working on her letters. She can recognize and make the correct sound for a "C" consistently!

Clara's "art work"! She thought of a better use for the food on her plate! I thought it was precious..... Mumzy did not!

Clara loves to eat apples, plums and pears, all though she calls them all an apple! She even eats the skin! I still follow her around the whole time she is eating one because I am scared that she will choke, but so far she has done really well. The rest of these pictures are just sort of random.
