Still working on the money pit!

Clara loves playing in the sand! Jakob has been in town the last two weeks and Clara just adores him! I have never seen her treat anyone the way she does him. She just acts giddy when he is around and hugs him and loves on him. It is absolutely precious!

The other day Clara was pushing her stroller around in the den saying, "rrrrrrrrarrrrraaaaaaaarr, baby"! When I went to see what she was pushing, this is what I saw! Yes, that IS a baby RAPTOR!!!

Her favorite place to sit and "figure things out". I think she thinks I can't see what she is doing. If she gets in the laundry basket and is really quiet, it usually means bad news!

Robby and I have been spending most of our spare time working on the money pit! We are hoping to finally start moving stuff in next weekend! It has been a real challenge working on such a huge project with everything else we have going on, but we think that our home is finally no longer a hazard to our health and we are ready to move in!

Building a Shed!

This is Clara's "Funny Face"! She thinks it is sooooo funny and she does it all 0f the time. She will sit in the back seat of the car saying "face" and then laughing at herself! Clara watching daddy work so hard while mommy takes pictures! Being silly.....Clara and her sand box.

Robby and I are building a shed in our backyard to keep tools, lawnmower, and toys in. So far this weekend, we were able to level and build a foundation/floor for the 10x10 building! It has been a challenge for me to learn how to do this stuff. Plus, I am not really as strong as Robby, so it has been hard to just do the work! Clara has been awesome this weekend. We got her a used sandbox and set it up in the backyard right beside us. She LOVES playing in the sand! She started out just looking at it and putting things in it and before long she was sitting in it, laying in it, and even eating it! We stopped the eating it part, but other than that she did great! The weather was super great this weekend. It made me so excited for the fall and winter to come. I love this time of year!
