Clara's Spring Art Show!

Clara's school had a Spring Art show for the children a few weekends ago and it was great! She and her classmates made a big picture of David and Goliath. Goliath was 7 feet tall! Clara was so excited that her whole family was coming to "her art show" she sang and danced all day!

Makeup!

Clara likes to get ready with me in the mornings when I have to go to work. I hope this isn't any insight into her teenage years..............

Iris?

These are some bulbs that I found in the yard last year and moved to the front flower bed. They must like their new location, because this year they are blooming like crazy and they are gorgeous! I think they might be Iris's......

Arts and Crafts!

We spend most of our days making arts and crafts! Clara loves to make projects and she is really good at them. She really would spend the entire day at our kitchen table drawing and gluing and creating! She is so much like her daddy!

More zoo!

We love the new warm weather and we love the zoo! We went again the other day to meet my friend Kathryn and then the next day to meet Jack and Tara. I lost my cell phone again..... long story of it being placed on top of my car and flying off..... so we could never find Kathryn at the zoo, but we found Tara and Jack and the kids had a great time. The new part of the zoo is really fun and it has a fun little play ground for the kids. It is a nice place for Tara and I to get to sit and talk!

Plants!

Apparently, I have my father's love of yard work! I have spread obout 150 bails of pine straw, planted about 180 plants, trees, and bulbs, and made a small garden with cabbage, broccoli, sunflowers, carrots, peppers, pumpkins, and watermelon! Hopefully everything will live! Clara has been the best helper and really loves the yardwork too! She loves to find wormies and bugs and put them in jars to play with. We finally have our back yard in decent condition! Soooo much fun!

Jakob and Harrison

When Jakob was in town a few weeks ago, he and Harrison spent the night at our house. Clara was so excited. We had a great time! We went to eat at Johnny Rockets at the Summit and Harrison ate more fries than I have ever seen a kid eat, he also told Clara that he " likes your face" and that his dad " has a goat on his face"! It was great fun! Next it will be Thomas and Hudson's turn!

Happy Birthday to ME!

For my Birthday, my family had a picnic at this great park. We grilled out, flew kites, and played int the stream. It was a great day!
