Grandmother's Birthday Party!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMOTHER! WE LOVE YOU!
Yesterday, Clara sat on the potty about 10 times trying for this "poo poo prize".... she finally got it! Yay Clara! Now, to teach her to go without prizes...... this is going to be a challenge! She picked out this outfit for Grandmother's Birthday party that we had at our house last night! She is so cute! When everyone got here, she ran and put all of her Littlest Pet Shops up because she was afraid that someone would lose all of the pieces! She keeps up with all of them and if something gets lost we have to search and search for it! I have to admit... she is a lot like me! Happy Birthday Grandmother! We love you so much! Clara, "Mima", and John with the Birthday girl! Clara "shocked" everyone with the gas can! She gets so excited when we have people over here, she runs around, skipping, and playing, laughing and singing! It is so funny. I suddenly felt like we needed a bigger house! I have loved this boy since I was 16 years old... I couldn't be happier.John did his best to find something not girlie to play with... he has gotten so much older acting since the last time I saw him! Sam... always Clara's favorite.. she adores him.

Can't you just see him in a little suit, sitting in a cafe in New York, talking stocks!

Dragon Hands!

I bought Clara some markers the other day, she really loves to color and paint and I thought that she would enjoy them. She made up her own game with the tops!

Happy 89th Birthday Mamaw!

Great cupcakes!
Joy with her pet dog, Clara with her per Dinosaur? Obviously it was a dance party! Joy and Jake shared their dinosaurs with Clara and she loved them! She rode this one around!
Happy Birthday Mamaw! We love you!

Grandmother party!

Her feet actually leave the ground when she jumps now!
I think Tucker has a thing for older women!
My favorite picture by far! It looks like the kids are watching the grandmother's swim!
My mom had a Grandmother Party at her house with a bunch of ladies she and I used to work with! It was so much fun! I posted all of the pictures I took on FB, but these are just a few of my favorites! My camera only takes 20 pictures right now, because I am using the SD card it came with. I haven't bought a new one yet, they are really expensive and someone just put my cell phone on top of my car and drove off.... so I guess I'll be needing a new one of those too! :)

First professional haircut!

In the Patton Creek Shopping center next to Edgar's Bakery!
She had so much fun! She sat perfectly still and even looked down when the girl asked her to! Soooo Pretty!
Sassy Diva! Makeup! Clara had her first haircut on Tuesday! We went to Sweet N' Sassy by the Galleria and it was awesome! They made such a big deal over her and treated her like a Princess/Diva! She sat in a chair like a big girl, wore a pink cover that said " Sassy Diva", and was perfectly still. They did a great job on her hair and then they put glitter in it, a star and a heart on her cheek, perfume that smelled like a cupcake on her and let her walk down the "red carpet"! She ate it all up! It is the perfect place to take a little girl to get her hair cut!

Potty

This is Clara playing with her "poo poo prizes"! She love the Little Pet Shop and they have been great incentives for potty training! My little princess would be embarrassed if she knew.....

Zoo with daddy!

Clara is actually starting to look bigger than Jack! I think she has grown more in the last month than she has since she was about 16 months old! I love this picture, especially the sippy cups under their arms.... they carried them around and every time Clara would take a sip Jack would take one too... once he tried to say "cheers" and hit her glass.... Clara just thought he was trying to hit her with his cup, sighed, and pushed him away! They already act like an old married couple! :) (Teehee)
We met Johnny and Tara Monday at the zoo and then grilled out! It was great fun! Robby hardly ever gets days off that he doesn't end up working, so Clara and I took him to all of our fun places and we planned a fun day with the Ross clan! I am so thankful/happy that they are in town :)

4th of July

This isn't the greatest picture, but it has been a long time since we took a family picture! Waiting for fireworks!
This is just a great picture! You can see M, handing out glow in the dark bracelets to the kids. M is so much fun! She always has something great up her sleeve! Robby is watching with a very content look and the background is just beautiful!
see-saw!
I wish I could remember what Thomas is telling Clara right now...
Thomas's cool Karate moves!
Harrison's "palm in yo face" move!
Hudson and Clara play so well together.. he kept telling Clara not to break the train tracks! At one point she did and he sent her to "time-out"! It was so funny!
Thomas really takes care of Clara! She tells everyone that he is her brother!
Robby, Clara and I went to M's house with my family for the 4th of July for dinner and to watch the fireworks from her backyard! It was great fun and great food! Clara always loves playing with her "boys" ! It was a big deal because we let Clara stay up until 8:45 to see the fireworks... we made it 2 in and she started screaming that they were too close and scary! M lives on the mountain and the fireworks were being shot from the valley... it was amazing because you felt like you might be able to touch them! Clara HATED them! She wanted everyone to come inside!

Splash Pad!

Jack loved the tunnel! He ran up the steps and down the tunnel over and over again and said "tunnel" about a million times! This is Clara's favorite way to swing... in case you ever wondered!
Clara loves playgrounds, especially the really high and scary stuff! I freak out the whole time she is playing! But she is a really great climber! (Don't worry, she couldn't get any higher!)
Jack loved these guns, he would hang from them and say something over and over again.. Tara and I never figured out what it was!
Clara really loved watching the older kids play in the water.. she never would stand under anything to get wet!
This is as brave as she got! Running under water is not her cup of tea!
But she loves to splash in the water and make feet prints!
Here is a link to tell you about this great place and how to get there!
http://www.cityofgardendale.com/parkrec_splashpad.php
Clara and I met Tara and Jack, Jack at the Splash Pad in Gardendale Friday and it was a blast! We almost didn't make it there because the directions took me into some scary looking part of town on the North side of Birmingham and I freaked out... I hit the "home" button on the GPS and started driving as fast as I could in that direction, but then I found 65 again and started back towards the Splash Pad! When we got there Clara started yelling "Fankyou, fankyou mommy, this is awesome"!! She was so excited, at first she didn't want to get wet, but then she saw how much fun wild man Jack was having ans she jumped right in! This place is really cool. It had water coming out of all these really fun things that were in the ground, like water guns, buckets, and tunnels and then it had a great big playground. The best part was that it was all FREE!!! We will definitely be going back!
