This is a long video, but I swear it is the best one I have ever taken! Clara is so smart! She plays peek-a-boo and can point things out to you if you ask her where they are!

Fun with Lane!

Clara and I ate a picnic lunch with Lane at Aldridge Gardens Monday. It was great to hang out with Lane and it was a beautiful day! We saw an Eastern Coral Snake while we were walking around the lake! I didn't think it was warm enough yet for snakes! Clara's favorite part of the day was playing in the pavilion! Thanks Lane!

Blueberries are the best!

Blueberries are fun to eat! Clara LOVES them! She was so cute picking them up! She has gotten really good at getting food from her tray into her mouth... It was hit or miss there for a while! Yummy! Look at all of her teeth! She would roll it around in her mouth for a while, it made me a little nervous at first! I was so afraid she was going to choke!Thanks for the adorable outfit Tara! We love it!

Clara and I went to visit Nana last week. We had so much fun hanging out with her! Clara loved playing with this little rocking chair that Nana had. She would rock her favorite stuffed animal in it and then she would back up to it and try to sit in it herself! Her favorite stuffed animal is this little white, fluffy dog that Thomas and the twins gave to her. Thomas named it Fifi and she says Fifi and pets it and hugs it! It is the cutest thing ever!

Tannehill State Park

Clara's first time to play with sticks! I have just never put her on the ground before and let her play with ground stuff! I guess I have been afraid of germs or bugs or something. I don't know, but she loved it! She had so much fun playing in the dirt with Grandmother

Today we went to Tannehill with Robby's family. It was a really nice day and Clara loved it. She always like to play with the Austins. Today was trade day at the park and there were a ton of people there...... it was strange. It wasn't really arts and crafts. It was more like a huge yard sale. I thought there was some pretty neat stuff there, but there was also a lot of strange stuff. Like someone was selling socks... not home made socks or anything, just regular old white in the package socks........

Fun with Poppie

Clara loves to play outside with her Poppie! Whenever she sees him she reaches for him and then points out the window! It is so cute! Outside with my dad was always my favorite place to be too!

Hanging out with Jack!

I copied this picture from Tara's blog! I loved it so much! I really hope that Tara, Jack, Pete, and Johnny end up in Birmingham! I love them!

I think Clara needs a little brother! I loved how snuggley Jack was! Clara is just too busy now to be a snuggler!

Clara says, "See jack, you push this button right here"! Tara, Johnny, and Jack came into town over the weekend and we met for lunch on Sunday. Clara had a great time! I don't know who she loved more, Jack or Pete, but she was so excited to play with them. Jack can do so much now compared to the last time they played, but so can Clara! She took his toys and sat on his head! I guess she is just use to having to hold her own with my sister's boys! After her play date we went to meet Robby's family at the park! It was a really good day! Robby and I also found a house that we like in Cahaba Heights! We are trying to go and look through it sometime this week. I'm trying not to get too excited about it cause of what happened with the last house we liked! Yesterday was my 26th birthday! I had a wonderful day! I forgot to take any pictures! But everyone made it such a special day! Thanks to mom, M, and Gigi for a great breakfast! Thanks to Robby for a great lunch and an awesome birthday run! Thanks to Rhett and Valerie for stopping by and making my afternoon great! And thanks to my Daddy for making my favorite food for dinner! Also, thanks to everyone else who called, text, emailed, and posted (wow, technology!)!!!

Work!

Well, I have been orienting at Children's Hospital all week and so far Clara has done very well! I think she is having a lot of fun with everyone! My big sister has been sending me pictures on my phone (21 so far!) and they have really helped me not to cry while I have been away! I miss Clara, but I think I am really going to love working with children. The whole reason I went to nursing school was to be a PICU nurse, who knows, maybe one day I will actually work there! But for now, I am really excited about working in sedation, and I am looking forward to learning. Clara is learning so much! She says "uh, o" Whenever she drops something now and it is such a fun game to her! She also will point out her eyes, nose, and mouth! Mumzy taught her how to do that! Today, I swear she said eye every time she pointed to her eye! Robby was with me, no kidding, she did it like 10 times! She also says kitty and gets really excited every time that terrible thing emerges from the garage..... it is wonderful to be with Clara! I love being a mommy! If I could figure out how to get the pictures off of my phone and onto the computer I would have so many great pictures to share with you guys from Clara's time with Mumzy and Aunt Gigi, but I have no clue! I will post pictures this weekend! I hope everyone is doing well!

New Car / Clara's first snow!

Yesterday, Robby and I bought a VW Passat Wagon! It is going to be my car and I love it! It felt strange buying a "mom car", but it really is perfect for up the three kids and a lot of cargo! Yea! I start orientation at Children's Hospital Monday and we realized it was going to be impossible to share a car anymore! So after almost 9 years of sharing one car Robby and I gave in and bought a second "family car"! Early morning snow!Clara's first time out in the snow.Sleding!Robby had to pull pretty hard to get us going! Clara's first snow! I think we are all more excited about it than she is! It is snowing really hard right now! Alabama weather is so weird... last week I went running in shorts and a t-shirt and yesterday I wore jeans and a t-shirt and today....snow! I know you guys in Cal are thinking that this isn't snow, but I promise you that there is no milk or bread to be found in the grocery stores and that everyone is staying home today because the roads are too dangerous!
