Clara's new toy!

Robby and I did some work on the house this weekend, and some of the walls and shelves we built were wet! It was cold and rainy on Sunday, so we took Clara to Toys R Us and let her pick out a new toy to help keep her in her room and away from all of the wet paint! I encouraged her to get this Ball Popper toy and she LOVED it! She has played and played with it. She wants to have Jack Jack over to play with it because she thinks he will love it too! Below is a video of her playing with it last night!

Last night Clara loved my dad! For some unknown reason, she usually picks on my dad. I was so happy that they played last night and that I got these wonderful pictures!

Ruffner Mountain

Mrs. Hollywood ready to go for a hike! We really haven't taken her hiking since we left California. There just aren't as many places to hike here and the weather isn't always ideal! Saturday was just beautiful, so we took Clara to Ruffner Mountain for a hike! My brother told us about the place and he was right, it really is great! Robby thought it was hilarious when I set Clara up in her stroller with sunglasses, milk, gummies, and toys.... not quite roughing it!

Clara was really proud of the big rock she found! I about had a heart attack when she3 picked it up. They had all these snakes and turtles on exhibit in the new buildings and I was afraid there would be one under the rock! Clara's favorite animals were the flying squirrel and the owls!

When Clara's legs got tired and we realized that it would be four years before we finished the trail with her stopping every 5 seconds to pick up a rock, leaf, or bug, she rode on mommy's back! I love my Ergo, it is one of the best baby carriers!

I gave Clara some of my old make up because Robby gave me a gift certificate to Sephora. She loves it! Sooo pretty!!!!!!

Clara started putting make up on "mirror Clara"! It was so funny! She kept telling mirror Clara the she was sooo pretty!

Mumzy and Thomas made me the best "Birthday Cake" ever!!! Jakob is one of Clara's favorite people! She just lights up when he is around!

I had a great Birthday this year. We celebrated with both families this year! Robby Tara ans Johnny took me out to eat at a really nice restaurant and then we went cosmic bowling! It was one of the funnest nights! Thanks everyone!

We had my grandparents, Nana and Pooh, over for dinner the other night to celebrate Pooh's Birthday! It was really fun, and I don't think I have ever seen Clara so excited to have someone over! She jumped and ran around, it was precious!

Clara played twinkle twinkle little star and sang at the top of her lungs! Jack loved the piano too!

Clara's favorite playmate, and mine too, are Tara and Jack! Clara calls them "Mrs. Tara" and "Jack, Jack"! They really play well together. Like every kid, they always want what the other is playing with, but not to the point of being mean and they really never fight. We went to Spain Park last week. It ended up being a little too cold to stay really long, but then we went shopping at Target and that was great! Since I have been couponing I hardly ever shop anywhere but Publix and CVS, so it is a real treat to go to Target! Clara and Jack were great! Tara and I have decided that it would be fun to join a playgroup. We just need to find one!

Sorry that, once again, it has been almost a month since I posted! It isn't that I don't like to blog, I just don't ever have time! Lately, I feel like I work all of the time, so every free moment I have I spend with Clara. She is getting so big! She says anything and everything now and she is quite the little personality! I love every minute with her. She is almost 2 years old! Oh how time flies!
