Boo at the Zoo!

We went to boo at the zoo last night with Tara, Johnny, Jack, and Charlie! It was fun, but I have to admit we all decided it would be the last time we go. It is just well, a little disappointing. The kids had fun, they know the zoo, so they ran around and they weren't scared to be there at night. Clara's costume turned out OK. I was also a little disappointed about it. She wants to be a lightening bug, Edison from Leap Frog to be more specific, and it was just really hard to make. We glued glow sticks to a tutu and made antennas, and got wings. She even wore a blue jumpsuit and a purple jacket to match Edison, but it just wasn't great. The glow sticks fell off and she wouldn't wear the glow mask for very long. We are gonna go trick-or-treating tonight and we will try to make some changes to the outfit so it works a little better :)

Thomas's very merry un-birthday!

Thomas had his Birthday party yesterday and it was so fun! My mom had it at her house and she and M and Gigi did a great job planning it. It was a creepy crawly party and Ed's Pet world put on a great show! The kids laughed and screamed and held really cool snakes and lizards and turtles. Clara had the best time of all. I was really glad that my sister had a friend come and photograph the whole thing, because I kept forgetting to take pictures! I was so nervous Clara was going to get hurt since she was one of the youngest ones there but she thinks she is big! She jumped and played and ran with the big kids! I can't believe how big my baby girl is now. She is going to be a great big sis! I'm glad she is going to have a little brother, I don't think she would know what to do with a tiny delicate little girl!

Beach again!

Clara and I went back to the beach at the beginning of October with my side of the family. It has been a long time since we have done anything like this, in fact, I don't believe we have ever had all these people together on a trip before! The kids loved the beach and especially Hudson! We built them their own little pool by digging out sand and filling it with water and Thomas and Jakob built some really cool sand castles around it for decoration! My sister and I decided to brave the trip down there with all three of her kids and Clara in one car with us! It worked out just fine and was quite an adventure!

We have been so busy this month! Robby has been working a lot plus he is building some shelves and a window seat in the baby's room; Clara is loving school and ballet, and I have been working, being a mommy, and very pregnant! We took Clara to the beach for a family trip this month and it was hands down the greatest beach trip we have ever been on! Clara loved everything, from staying in a hotel to having her own pool to playing in the sand and the ocean. She was full of joy and wonder at everything and it made going to the beach a whole new experience for me just watching her! The water was perfect for a three year old; no seaweed, no waves, and lots and lots of hermit crabs to pick up! We would wake up, go to the beach, eat lunch, take a nap, and then go back to the beach or swim in the pool. Joseph is getting really big. I started showing at the beginning of this month and by the end there was no doubt that I am carrying a big boy! The doctor says that everything is going great and Robby and I are very excited and thankful for another little joy to be in our lives. Clara on the other hand is excited some days and nervous others! She will be a great big sister, I just think she gets nervous about sharing the attention and her toys. Things are about to start getting busier with the Holidays coming. I will try to post more often, but don't be surprised if I only post a few more times before the baby gets here. When Joseph gets here I will post a ton of pictures for you guys so you can see lots and lots of his precious little self!
